August Colour Challenge!

Good morning everyone!

Today we have a couple of things to mention before we get onto the challenge. First - we are announcing a Design Team Call! It's going to be short and sharp - 2 weeks to apply and you'll be participating in the the September challenge if you make the team!  I'll put a post up shortly to tell you all about the requirements and where the team is heading in the next few months! Exciting times.

Here is this month's challenge - Rikki has once again put together a gorgeous mood board, I think we'll be seeing a lot of bling incorporated into this month's challenge entries!  You can use the board to inspire you in any way you choose and link up using the Mr Linky at the top of the blog.

This month's sponsor is 2 Crafty Chipboard who will be sending a prize pack to this months winner! The Design Team got to play with lots of beautiful products from the store (thank you - we had so much fun!) so you will see the chipboard on each of our layouts this month ... please, please, please do yourself a favour and check out their >blog here< - so much amazing work.

Here is how our wonderful design team chose to use the board and the gorgeous products from 2 Crafty...

Good luck everyone! Linky at the top of this page if you wish to submit your entry!

RAK Winner

Hi Folks!

If you follow our Facebook page you'll have seen that we had a little give-away last month.  The very kind people at Fiskars Australia have given me some products to give away, and to start the ball rolling we thought a Fiskars Fuse Starter Pack would be nice to give to one lucky person... :)
The Fuse Creativity System® is much more than another die-cutting machine. It’s the only system on the market that can die-cut a shape, press a textured pattern and ink the pattern all in one pass through the machine.
The simplified plating and manual crank system make it easy to create embellishments for accenting homemade cards, scrapbook pages or just about any other craft project. Different combinations of dies, letterpress plates, inks and crafting materials offer a virtually limitless range of stunning results.
With the Fuse creativity System, you can do more than just die-cut and letterpress. Different combinations of plates can create a pressed, die-cut embellishment; a simple die-cut shape; a letterpressed design for a page or card; or a simple pressed design.

Isn't this awesome?! We have one more in the 'kitty' (plus other Fiskars goodies) which we will give away in a few months, so make sure you keep playing along, checking our FB page and of course watching out for your name in our winners announcements here on the blog.
So, I'm pleased to announce the winner of the Fiskars Fuse Starter Kit is ...

Amanda-Jane Baldwin!

Thank you to everyone who commented and shared our little giveaway. Make sure you play along here each month and you could win something!
The winners for the Charms Creations giveaway from last month will be announced tonight.
Happy Friday,
x AJ

July Reveal (Part I)

Happy July Folks!

This month Rikki has designed this gorgeous sketch, I hope you love this as much as we did (you will, you will!).

There's a couple of changes I wanted to bring to your attention - if you haven't checked out the rules lately have a quick look (link at the top of the blog), and we've changed the link up style too - your challenge entries can also now be linked at the bottom of this post, not the sidebar, and there's also a shortcut riiiiiight up the top there, next to 'Home'.  Leave us a comment if you have further ideas for the challenges too. :)

Sponsor time. I'm so excited to reveal not only the sketch, but this months sponsor. This month The Scrappery Kit Club are our lovely, lovely sponsor and they are giving away one BTK kit. Because it isn't available in the store yet I don't have a picture for you, but you can also check out their lovely kits in store, or even set up a subscription.

Here is this months sketch and Design Team inspiration for you to get started - good luck everyone!

Have fun scrapping! We can't wait to see your layouts.

xx AJ and the Scrap The Girls DT.
